Welcome to Horton’s New Blog

November 2nd, 2007 by admin

Welcome to our new blog. We have established this blog with a few thoughts in mind. First, we are interested in opening and improving communications with those of you who use Horton crossbows and compound bows, as well as those of you using other manufacturers’ equipment so we may improve our products and provide you the most dependable tools for your hunting experience.

Through this blog we will keep you informed of what we are up to at Horton so you have the opportunity to provide input. Please also checkout our new website @ www.crossbow.com.

when hunting with a crossbow should you leave it cocked the whole time or cock it when you see a deer?

I think in a forum will consider my question:
“Here is my SN B59219 Horton Legend XT 175
(what year was it made), I bought this crossbow 2008.”
    Thank you.

Being new to Crossbows, I have the same question as Brandon about the length of time that the bow can be cocked before having to remove the broad head and shoot a target arrow. I cannot imagine having to discharge an arrow and then wait for another deer to come within range.
