First, we are interested in opening and improving communications with those of you who use Horton crossbows and compound bows, as well as those of you using other manufacturers’ equipment so we may improve our products and provide you the most dependable tools for your hunting experience.

when hunting with a crossbow should you leave it cocked the whole time or cock it when you see a deer?

Being new to Crossbows, I have the same question as Brandon about the length of time that the bow can be cocked before having to remove the broad head and shoot a target arrow. I cannot imagine having to discharge an arrow and then wait for another deer to come within range.
